Importing edited photos back to PC/Mac

You use iTunes to sync photos into your iPad, but iTunes cannot import edited photos back to your PC.
When the iPad is connected to your computer, it represents itself as a digital camera.
In order to import photos, you'll need to use an application that can retrieve photos from a digitial camera. Such as Picasa, Photoshop or iPhoto (mac only).
