Tip No. 1: Brightness and Contrast

We recommend using the Histogram bars to adjust your photo’s brightness and contrast.

The position of the right bar determines the brightness, and the distance between the bars determines the contrast. Alternatively use the assigned buttons on the Exposure page.

Tip No. 2: Editing new photo

You can choose another photo to edit, without quitting Photogene.

Simply click on the
icon and choose “Edit new photo”.

Tip No. 3: Dramatic B&W effect

For a dramatic black and white effect, drag the saturation slider all the way to the left and enhance the contrast by narrowing the gap between the histogram bars.

Tip No. 4: Blurriness

If your saved photos come out blurry or small, try restarting your iPhone.

(this problem is often caused by low-memory issues)

Tip No. 5: Colored Pencil effect

To create a colored pencil effect: First slide the pencil bar. Next go to the RGB page (colors adjustment mode). Move the sliders to change the pencil’s color.

Tips are periodically published on the Photogene’s Message box and updated in this web page.
